As a country that creates and adores drama, when will enough be enough? Many of the folks from other countries come because they’ve seen our movies. Gone With the Wind, The Wizard of Oz, and The Godfather, have influenced many to come to the USA. Today the world is experiencing this drama through economics and war. Who started the fire? History repeats itself, no question. Somehow the stakes get higher.
When will we recognize that no one individual is responsible. It is usually a combustion of variables.
In our process to individuate, we seem to want to project our feelings and thoughts onto those with power and charisma. Is this counterintuitive?
Roll with it. Religion, politics, medical, and legal. Facts imply proven accuracy and credibility. It would seem that facts remain facts until another idea climbs over them.
The costumes at the Metropolitan indicate the pervasive concepts that we pass through. Pointed toe shoes, show an idea of, not having to walk long distances. What is the difference between a 19th century bustle and enlarging the buttocks? Short skirts can be for moving faster or showing off the legs. The most dramatic is, draping yards of fabric to display the ability to afford it.
Shoes for our souls/soles and hats for our spirits have been ways to protect and enhance our unconscious.
