How to equate fear and freedom? Are we better protected? We live in a time of escalated rules and suspicion. Supposedly to protect our freedom. As our collective communication is filled with polarizing points of view, it is almost impossible to not feel paranoid. As the tv show “Person of Interest” displays, we are being watched and analyzed in greater and greater measure. We denigrate the process in other cultures, Sharia, Islamic law of retribution, or Chinese reproduction rules. CCTV is everywhere in Great Britain. It would seem that this rolling wave of too much information is suffocating.
