| America was born in 1776, the year of the Fire Monkey. Great vitality and need to dominate. Speculation is the key word, hopefully with clear views on the risks. Anyone born this year or turning 60 is a Fire Monkey. There is so much passion in the sea of belief. As we need to delegate it, religion is a spot for all to turn to. As the monkey brain pushes us to repetition of the thoughts that dance in our heads, at times we all push out that which is in conflict with our system. Be kind to different religions, remember how similar the basic facts are. Love can bring out abundance and beauty. This is the time of the Valentine. As it is also the time of purification, this can bring out the doubt. "Les Fleurs du Mal", by Beaudelaire, was acknowledging the beauty and pain of love. Fat, lard are images of excess, perhaps Lent was a way to stem avarice. The liver, our anger, needs relief.
