Autumnal Equinox 2015

The recent full moon and the Autumnal equinox heralded changes that were felt everywhere. The moon in Aries gives the unconscious license to get the mojo going. As the underbelly rarely likes this kind of exposure, it makes change seem frightening. But, as we know, even a drill Sargent has his good points. The Equinox celebration, I was a part of, had much sustaining energy, and a bit of drama. One participant caught fire while attempting to stoke it. He came away with little injury, and gave us all the experience of the balance, Libra, when we harness nature. The individual gave the collective the message of balance. Remembering the ebb and flow and the premise of pain and pleasure, is a part of the human condition. Sacrifice is needed and accepted.

As we move toward the winter solstice, we are dying a bit to be reborn when the light moves toward greater exposure.

Allow pleasure to be a part of the fear in this ongoing circle of life.  As I read recently, the glass half empty can always be filled.
