The green witch in Wizard of Oz was encouraged to hate her sister. It is hard to dream up new folklore or enchanting stories. Jung and Marie Louise von Franz believed the self could be found in the soul which is mostly the theme of the fairy tale. Most folks find solace in the realm of storytelling.
